✦ Crypto payment gateway

Accept international payments at 0.1% Fee

Take cross-border payments worldwide from any country at a flat 0.1% per transaction, with instant on-chain settlement and stablecoins that skip the FX step entirely.

How a cross-border sale works

A customer in São Paulo buys from your Manchester store. The flow runs like this →

  • At checkout, they pick USDT on Tron from the "Pay with crypto" option.
  • Zeno checkout displays a QR code and the payment amount in USDT.
  • They scan the code from their wallet and confirm the transaction.
  • USDT worth the order amount lands in your Zeno account.
  • Your order management system marks the order paid.
  • Withdraw your balance anytime, keep it in crypto to your wallet, or convert to fiat and send it to your bank.

The same flow works for customers in Tokyo, Lagos, Berlin, or Toronto. On-chain settlement means the rails behave identically regardless of either side’s country, with the one variable being which blockchain the customer prefers.

How SWIFT compares to stablecoin rails

Traditional cross-border payments run through SWIFT, correspondent banks, and card networks. Stablecoin rails replace all three with a direct on-chain transfer between the customer’s wallet and yours.

The practical difference looks like this:

Dimension SWIFT or international cards Stablecoin rails
Fee $25 to $50 flat, or 3.5%+ 0.1% flat
Settlement time 1 to 7 business days Seconds to minutes
FX handling Bank-set rate with spread USD-denominated by default
Banking relationships needed One per currency or corridor None
Transaction reversibility Varies by rail Irreversible

For most cross-border sales under $10,000, stablecoin rails come out ahead on every dimension. For higher-value B2B settlements, the combination of speed and cost advantage still tends to win, though local compliance requirements should factor into the choice.

Cross-border is moving on-chain

Businesses are replacing SWIFT and international card rails at a steady pace. The economics drive most of the shift, though settlement speed matters just as much for merchants managing international working capital.

Everything you need to know before getting started

No. The same checkout, the same API, and the same fee apply whether your customer is in Mexico, Vietnam, or the Netherlands. On-chain settlement uses blockchain rails that operate identically worldwide, which is why "international payment gateway" applies to every country equally for Zeno merchants.

Customers pay in crypto tokens rather than fiat currencies, which sidesteps the FX question entirely. USDT, USDC, PYUSD, BTC, ETH, and other supported tokens work across borders, and stablecoins specifically hold a 1:1 peg to the US dollar so the amount paid matches the amount received regardless of home currency.

Stablecoins handle most of the FX problem through their 1:1 peg to the US dollar. If your customer pays 100 USDC, you receive 100 USDC, worth $100 regardless of their home currency. When you want to convert to your local fiat, Zeno offers withdrawal options including bank transfer and other cash-out methods, all at the market rate with no markup

Between 2 seconds and 20 minutes depending on the blockchain. All of this is an order of magnitude faster than the 3 to 7 business days typical for SWIFT wires or international card settlement.

SWIFT still makes sense for certain high-value regulated flows where banking partners and compliance requirements dictate specific rails. For most commercial transactions, including B2B invoicing under $100,000, stablecoin rails settle faster, cost less, and produce a cleaner audit trail than SWIFT with significantly less paperwork.

Zeno works globally, and customers from any country with internet access can pay through your checkout. Merchants should check local regulations for their own jurisdiction around accepting crypto, though the activity is widely legal across Europe, the UK, the Americas, and most of Asia.

International card chargebacks are both more common and harder to defend than domestic ones. On-chain crypto payments are final the moment the transaction confirms, which removes the chargeback risk entirely and replaces it with a permanent on-chain record of every sale.

No. Your customer pays from a crypto wallet, not a bank account, which removes the country-specific banking rails that normally sit between international customers and your business. A customer with USDT in a wallet can pay a merchant abroad as easily whether they're in the Philippines or Germany.
